Young Hollywood glamor with a good cause are the concepts retailer Stuart Weitzman has used in order to create a shoe collection that gives back. In collaboration with some of the hottest actresses of the moment, the brand is trying to make a difference while offering lust worthy shoe designs that skillfully combine sexiness and elegance.
Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere, Olivia Palermo and Michelle Trachtenberg are the celebrities that took the challenge of using their creative skills and influence for this fashionable project that will benefit Marsha Moses’ pioneering research in ovarian cancer at the Folkman Institute in Boston.
Each of these young ladies has surely been recognized for their fab fashion style and have even became fashion icons, so the expectations in terms of designs are certainly high. Different, yet extremely alluring, the shoes co-designed by the star are all elegant and extremely alluring. Each of the designs carries different style influences as well as different price tags. Let’s take a look at each of the shoe styles included in the collection:
Scarlett Johansson co-designed a classy pair of red Oxford-style lace-up, cut-out platform pumps will retail for $425. Michelle Trachtenberg also opted for stylish and versatile platform pumps that can be worn in more than one season. The crystal-snake calfskin high heeled pumps inspired by Michelle will cost $425. The Hayden Panettiere inspired shoes are a pair of sexy high heeled suede ankle boots that are priced at $498. Last but not least, Olivia Palermo’s co-designed shoes are strappy ankle wrap sandals embelished with fuschia feathers with an exotic touch. These sandals will also retail for $425.
Granted, these to-die for shoes might not be cheap, yet they are extremely classy and can make a real difference, not to mention the fact that they are a much needed break from the popular, uber exposed, solely profit based celebrity lines. The Young Hollywood Cares collection can already be seen at the brand’s official website, stuartweitzman.com where additional details about the shoes are mentioned. The shoes will reach flagship stores in New York, Beverly Hills and Chicago in September.
