Angelina Jolie has joined forces with Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels for a new jewelry line. The 35-year-old actress was spotted wearing at the Berlin premiere of “Salt”, last year, a faceted black spinel necklace bezel with a rose gold setting, another piece she collaborated on with Procop.
The pieces in this collection will be based on a design imagined by Angelina Jolie and Procop and will be sold privately through the Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels network of clients. All the proceeds obtained will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, an organization co-founded by the actress in order to help children who are victims of war and natural disasters.
“These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place – to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school”, Angelina said.
Last year, Angelina and Brad created a gold and silver collection for upmarket jeweler Asprey, with all profits donated to the same humanitarian cause. The capsule collection, called The Protector”, also included baby gifts such as egg cups and silver spoons, and was inspired by snakes.
