Supermodel Kate Moss is the new face of the Vogue Eyewear spring/summer 2020 collection. Kate is replacing beautiful Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen in a new ad campaign made by famous photographer Mario Testino at Syon Park in London.
Vogue Eyewear’s brand manager, Daniela Policastro told WWD that they are really thrilled with the choice they made. “We are excited about having Kate Moss as spokesperson for the new Vogue Eyewear advertising campaign and about working once again with Mario Testino.”
In the campaign, the 36-year-old beautiful British model looks gorgeous and glamorous. She was styled by her good friend Katy England, while makeup was made by well-known makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.
DesignThe spring/summer 2020 collection features “Kate’s Favorites”, which represents a selection of four sunglasses and two optical frames that were chosen by the model. Well, this is not the first time Kate Moss is involved in the design process, since she has already worked on various collections for Topshop and for Longchamp.
In fact, the famous supermodel made 14 cool collections for Topshop which were the perfect reflection of her style. Speaking about the four-year collaboration with Topshop, which ended last year, Kate said that “I’ve learned a lot about the design and development process; experiences that I’d only ever seen informally through being a model.”
As for the handbags she designed for Longchamp, this seems to be the result of Kate’s passion for fashion, but also her amazing experiences she had throughout time. Kate’s collection for Longchamp has 12 different styles, which she named The Glastonbury, after her favorite music festival, but also Soho, Glouchester, Ladbroke, and Goldbourne.
