Full of shine and texture, this face slimming updo gets a chic finish by taking it up and to the side. There’s a slight volume at the roots for height, then curly tendrils up top are tugged to the side for a soft, face-framing style.
Face Slimming Updo Styling
Start by dividing hair into two, twist crown section and clip it out of the way. Add texture with a curling iron, working your way from the nape to the crown.
After curling the bottom section, secure it into a low ponytail and place it slightly to the side.
Slip on a hair donut to get a more voluminous bun and gently tease the length of the pony.
Wrap hair around the donut to hide it and secure with bobby pins.
Release top section and start curling it. Take pieces of different sizes for a more natural curl.
Place curled strands over the bun and pin into place.
The side part and lift at the roots will make a round face appear slimmer, but this stylish updo will work beautifully on all face shapes.
