One of the latest news claims that Taylor Momsen actually blames her parents for her gloomy life and the main explanation given in the interview offered to Revolver is the following:

“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset, and why is she so miserable about things?”, My parents signed me up with Ford (modeling agency) at the age of two. No two year old wants to be working, but I had no choice.

“My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”. This is in fact the main reason why she decided to take advantage of both her music career in the venerated The Pretty Reckless rock band and her universal fame to make up for the loss she suffered while a child.

Millions of fans were grateful to Taylor Momsen for revealing this bit of her life as it would definitely give the perfect explanation why she is not bothered of the high interest of the media to unveil her real identity.

Instead all these statements only confirm that the Gossip Girl role was only a tiny divergence from her real and true path in life. Taylor is no longer the little girl under control in fact she is more independent than the media and parent would have thought only at the age of 17.
