The news that Vanessa split from Zac Efron has shocked the media and the fans of the two stars last year. Many fans may have wondered how long will it take for the two stars to begin dating again. Well, in the case of Vanessa Hudgens, it seems that the answer might have come sooner than expected. Several signs seem to point out the fact that Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson might be romantically involved.
The event that seems to have been at the core of the numerous rumors started on the topic was the premiere of Beastly where the two stars were spotted together. Back then, speculations have started when a source reportedly told People magazine: “Their arms were wrapped around each other, and they were really touchy together. They were very cute.”
In addition, comments about Vanessa being “smitten” about John also promoted the idea that she might have decided to carry on with her love life. This event, however, was only the beginning as the two stars gave the media even more reasons for suspicion.
Later, Josh Hutcherson took Vanessa to the Independent Spirit Awards, fact that seemed to further confirm the rumors about the two of them dating. Furthermore, an onlooker seems to have confirmed what everyone has been thinking about for a while now by stating: “Josh walked Vanessa to the bathroom and then guided her to their seats with a hand on the small of her back.”
In light of this new information it appears that the idea of a possible romantic relationship between the two becomes more and more plausible. However, there are still many skeptics that seem to doubt the statements made on the topic, or more precisely, doubting their accuracy. The main speculation made against this new information is the age difference between the two stars. Considering the fact that Vanessa is 22 while Josh is only 18, many are wondering about the possible reasons of attraction between the two. Even so, it is a well known fact that love works in mysterious ways and many good love relationships have developed in spite of age differences, which are easy to overcome in many instances.
Until official statements are made on the matter we can only analyze this situation through the filter of our own subjectivity. However, the two stars sure seem a cute couple and we are quite sure that many of Vanessa’s fans would like to see her dating again, especially since there is indication that her ex boyfriend Zac might be doing the same.
