Sexy actress Sofia Vergara was announced as the new brand ambassador of CoverGirl. In fact, the 38-year-old star shared this great news to all her fans via her Twitter and Facebook pages. The beautiful Colombian born actress wrote on Twitter: “[I’m] so happy to be the new CoverGirl!”
“Hola! Can’t hold this secret any longer! I am the new @COVERGIRL and I am shooting my first ad today! I’m so honored to be part of this amazing group of women. There’s a cover girl in all of us. What makes you a COVERGIRL? Check me out on set,” the “Modern Family” star wrote on Facebook.
Speaking about her latest collaboration, Sofia told PEOPLE that, “It feels amazing. I’ve always wanted to be a CoverGirl. I always loved seeing the pictures of the campaigns in magazines.”
Sofia Vergara is one of the hottest women in the world. We don’t know if her Latin genes are responsible for this, yet it is certain that her natural beauty makes Sofia the perfect choice as the new face of CoverGirl.
The actress told in an interview that she really appreciates and feels proud to represent Latin women through this role. “When you grow up, you look up to girls in the magazines, and you never think you’re going to be that pretty, or that well made-up, or that glamorous. I love that I have the Latin flavor; Latin girls can relate to me, see what I’m wearing, see my makeup, my hairstyle,” she told PEOPLE.
Besides, Sofia reveals in a statement that she is extremely honored to be a part of this project. “I have loved playing with makeup ever since I was a little girl. And now, I am so honored to join the line up of extraordinary women that are and have been CoverGirls, and to be a part of a brand that is so committed to helping women look and feel beautiful.”
The first advertising campaigns featuring Sofia Vergara are set to be released in January 2020. The actress joins a group of gorgeous women who represent the brand such as Taylor Swift, Drew Barrymore, Halle Berry, Ellen DeGeneres, Queen Latifah, and Dania Ramirez.
