Kate Gosselin Is Freaking Out Over Show Cancellation

After years of being a reality TV mom, Kate Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus Eight and Kate Plus Eight, is getting ready to face ‘normal’ life after her show has been cancelled, and the reality TV mother of eight says she is freaking out over the show cancellation.

After a shocking divorce from her then husband Jon, Kate Gosselin has concentrated on building a career in reality TV. Apparently, her plans backfired with TLC’s decision to cut the show, and now Kate is freaking out over the future. Once rumors started to appear with regards to the show reaching its end, Kate tried to be strong and says she was excited about new opportunities to come, but now Kate admits she’s actually terrified.

The 36 year old mother of 8 opened up in an exclusive interview with People, and admits that the show helped in providing a high quality life for her children and now she is terrified that things are going to change. She told People that: “I’m freaking out. Big time. ‘My kids weren’t ready. Nobody was. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having anything else lined up. This has been ended for me on a moment’s notice. I don’t know what’s next.”

Although Kate says she has saved some money for her children from the show’s earnings, she is considering returning to her old job as a nurse, but still that only in case nothing else turns up as Kate says: “After the show was cancelled I said, ‘I’ll go back to my old nursing job.’ If nothing comes up, I’ll do it. But the scary reality is, 12-hour nursing shifts every day wouldn’t let me continue to provide well for eight kids essentially on my own. When you think about it that way, it’s gets really scary.”

The reality is that getting used to a certain lifestyle, a better lifestyle and then returning to the way things were at the beginning would be scary for most people and apparently the kids are starting to realize that being on TV is going to impact their lives as Kate says the kid’s first comment was: “No more fun trips? Are we still going to be able to live in our house? Are we still going to be able to go to our school? I was not prepared for that says Kate.

It seems that one person however sees some positivity in all this, Jon Gosselin told RumorFix.com that: “Reality TV is not a career. Get back to a normal life – a simple life.” “Things will work out the way they should work out. Obviously, there are families out there that have several kids; people work normal jobs, and things work out.”

Do you think that Kate will get another shot to reality TV in the future?
