Brad Pitt Slams Jennifer Aniston in Interview with Parade

Brad Pitt has spent almost half of his life in the spotlight and according to his interview with Parade magazine September 2020 issue, it seems that stardom wasn’t easy to adjust to. The 47 year old stud has dated some of the hottest celebs in Hollywood, but the Aniston/Pitt/Jolie love triangle gained the heaviest amount of attention from the media.

The world was stunned when it was revealed back in 2020 that the hottest couple in Hollywood Jennifer and Brad Pitt was getting a divorce and that Brad was moving on to Angelia Jolie. The press speculated about reconciliation, but it seems that Brad is shooting these rumors down by talking about his previous relationship with Jennifer Aniston and his current relationship with Angelina.

Although Brad seemed like the luckiest and happiest man on Earth back in the ’90s, he reveals that things weren’t as they looked: “I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

Things have taken a drastic turn since then; Brad is now living happily alongside his ex co-star from Mr and Mrs Smith, Angelina Jolie and with their six children. Brad shares that he is now a satisfied man and that is because he has found the woman he loves.

“I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. … That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all.”

He believes that he has made the best choice ever to pick Angelina to start a family with and says that “one of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”

To clear any rumors about splitting from Angelina, Brad Pitt tells the magazine clearly that they are not splitting up and that they will tie the knot when everyone will be able to do so freely. Brad and Angelina have been strong advocates of gay rights to marriage and have declared with several occasions that they will not get married until everyone who wishes to do so will have the right to officially marry. Brad tells the magazine that: “I mean, how many stories have you read that aren’t true, stories about me and Angie being married or fighting or splitting up? And when we don’t split up, there’s a whole new round that we’ve made up and we’re back together again! We’ll get married when everyone can. We’re not splitting up. And we don’t have a seventh child yet.”

Brad Pitt also talks with Parade about adopting and being a parent, so check out the entire interview in the September issue.
