In the cover story, the ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ star confesses that she never wanted to be famous. “I never wanted to be a celebrity; I never wanted to be famous. And in my daily life, I work really hard not to trade on it in any way,” Sarah Jessica Parker told Marie Claire. On growing up and her work ethic the stunning actress says that, “We didn’t have a lot when I was growing up, and it’s the best thing that happened to me because I appreciate everything. I have a strong worth ethic and I don’t take anything for granted.”

In the interview with the magazine, the starlet admits that she loves her job. “I love, love, love being an actor. It’s still the hardest and scariest thing I do, outside of parenting. But I love the opportunities, and if I can manage my time, and the children are OK and we’re OK, it’s hard to say no to things that are challenging and enriching,” Sarah says.

Even though admitting she loved to play Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah has repeatedly confessed that she doesn’t identify herself with her ‘Sex and the City’ character. On her SATC days, Parker looks back fondly. She told Marie Claire that even before she became a mother, she was living a very different life to her most famous character. “I was never Carrie Bradshaw,” she says.

Sarah and husband Matthew Broderick got together when the actress was only 26. Therefore, the starlet spent her 30s as a wife. “Imagine how great it was to be told, ‘You are obligated to kiss all these men, to dress like that, and to carry on like that!’ They were great guys, too,” she said in the interview with Marie Claire UK.

Speaking about the possibility of a third ‘Sex and the City’ sequel, the actress admitted that, “It wouldn’t be right now. I know what the story is, and there would come a time when it should be told, we will see.’ If it were to happen, she adds, ‘it would be small.’ Then she added that, “I’ve been on movie sets where people were just going through the motion. I don’t ever want to be one of those people who doesn’t want to be there.”
