Teen Vogue‘s December 2020/January 2020 cover girl is talented and super-cute young actress Chloë Grace Moretz. In the interview with the magazine, the ‘Kick-Ass’ star dishes on how she started her career and why she loves acting, but also on fashion, being known as a true fashion icon and her personal style.

Chloë started acting when she was only six years old with a role in the 2020 remake of ‘The Amityville Horror’, following one of her four older brothers into the industry. “When [my brother] Trevor was fifteen and I was five, he’d be practicing his monologues, and I just started memorizing them too. I guess something clicked,” the actress recalls in the cover story.

Next May, she will appear alongside Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer in Tim Burton’s gothic vampire flick Dark Shadows as a “fun-loving hippie with a secret.”

This month, the young actress stars in Martin Scorsese’s ‘Hugo’, a Paris-set fantasy in which Chloë speaks with an English accent. Speaking about her character, lovely Chloë told Teen Vogue that, “I play a book-smart 1930s girl who meets a boy, played by Asa Butterfield, and then they go on this crazy adventure and find out all of these amazing things about their lives.”

Chloë is already known for her amazing ability to play rather violent characters. In fact, the young actress admits that she loves this type of roles. “I mean, it’s acting. I like these roles because they’re not me. That’s what’s fun about it. If I played another version of Chloë all the time, it would be boring,” she explained in the interview with Teen Vogue.

As for her professional future plans, Chloë confesses that her top priority is to stay in the business and produce her own films. “I’d love to be in this industry for the rest of my life — to write, direct, and produce my own movies. I’m an overachiever, you know? I’m always trying to find a way to do more,” she told the magazine.

Chloë is not just a talented actress, but also a full-time high school student and a renowned fashion icon. She was even invited to sit front row at Calvin Klein Collection’s spring 2020 show. On fashion, she says that, “superexciting. I love fashion! To me, it’s another way to express myself.” Moreover, the actress admits that she’s more into the quirkier looks that “mix high fashion with high-street fashion. Like, I’ll put an Alexander McQueen jacket with a nice Topshop T-shirt. That’s more approachable than, ‘Here comes Chloë in her runway look.’”

When talking about her well-known costars, Chloë says that, “Nobody really sits you down and gives you advice, but I’ve seen people who are so amazing and big but who are also so humble and normal. And I think, If they’re like that, I can be like that too.”
