He’s preparing to unveil his third album and it seems that his confidence has reached an all-time high, as international pop sensation revealed to GQ that he thinks he’s a ‘swaggy adult’. The ‘Boyfriend’ singer, who recently turned 18, has met fame at quite an early age and has since then managed to top the billboard charts, entered the fragrance industry and won an award from first try and more, so the teen has plenty accomplishments to brag about.
The Canadian superstar chatted with one of the magazine’s writers and gushed on various themes including fame, drinking, style and even Kim Kardashian, but not before getting all classy for the camera lens of Peggy Sirota for GQ, where Mr. Bieber posed like a true pro.
The heartthrob, who recently graduated high-school, but hasn’t been in a classroom since he was 14 and started his impressive music career, says that he believes education is very important. He tells GQ that ‘as far as education goes, you should be a smarter person’, so no wonder the 18 year old didn’t neglect his studies and aimed to get his diploma although his bank account could ensure him a care-free lifestyle from now on.
Making it big in the entertainment business is not easy and it seems the trick is not to thrust anyone as Mr. Bieber says “I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”
As he is interviewed, Justin Bieber is announced that his new tricked-out van has arrived and to express his gratitude to West Coast Customs, he invites the crew and founder Ryan Friedlinghaus to his recording studio to listen to his new songs and probably in the heat of excitement, Justin said “I’m 18 years old and I’m a swaggy adult!”
Now that’s he’s technically an adult, Justin Bieber can open up a bit more about his lifestyle. Numerous celebs have struggled to cope with the pressure of fame and found drinking to be an escape gate, but not Justin Bieber as he tells GQ that:
“For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before … but I never get out of control.”
He’s got the ‘Biebettes’ to defend him whenever someone says something negative about him, so as a negative comment is risen targeting Kim Kardashian, Bieber – who co-starred with Kim in a spread last year – replies “You guys are so mean, bro…. People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff…. She works hard.”
