Actress and singer Selena Gomez proved that she can appreciate comedy and that she’s got a well developed sense of humor by starring in a parody inspired by the EL James erotic novel ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. The adult erotic novel, which has been called ‘Twilight for adults’ (although it doesn’t feature any vampires in the plot), focuses on the prohibited, passionate, all fetish sexual relationship between the innocent 21 year old Anastasia Steele and an intimidating, handsome and wealthy businessman named Christian Grey, who introduces Ana to a dominant-submissive relationship that is not short of spicy details.
The trilogy has become a huge hit among US women and managed to snatch No. 1, 2 and 3 on The New York Times digital bestseller list. The 528-page novel that can definitely make you blush has apparently inspired the new Funny of Die ‘Fifty Shades of Blue’ parody in which Selena Gomez plays the role of the 21 year old Anastasia.
The parody doesn’t follow exactly the plot of the super popular erotic novel but gives it a hilarious twist in which the role of the older millionaire is switched to that of a painter. Nick Kroll plays the role of the quite disturbing looking painter that sweeps Selena off her feet.
Selena’s gorgeous voice that depicts a totally different story that the one showing on screen makes the parody a delight and gives it a hilarious feel that instantly conquers. The three minute and a half video shows off the comedy-loving side of the “Wizzards of Waverly Place” hottie. Check out the hot new parody movie and tell us what you think!
