The news that Miranda Kerr will no longer be a Victoria’s Secret Angel struck yesterday and stirred plenty of intense reactions from fans. There were numerous allegations concerning the supermodel’s “difficult reputation” and concerning the fact that she doesn’t produce as much sales revenue as Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.

The same sources claimed that while she will still be present for this year’s Victoria’s Secret show, her $1 million contract will not be renewed. Fortunately for fans of the Aussie model, these rumors, which first emerged in the US Weekly proved untrue and were quickly denied by brand officials.

The brand’s president and chief marketing officer, Ed Razek stated that Miranda Kerr’s future for the company isn’t as unclear as recent news might have lead others to believe: “Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business – and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumours to the contrary are simply untrue.”

The official statement on the matter didn’t stop here as brand representatives went on to emphasize the fact that Miranda Kerr is not leaving Victoria’s Secret. In fact, the star who has worked for Victoria’s Secret since 2020, was deeply missed during the times she had other commitments.”While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me. We have no plans to stop working with her. In fact, I’ve already invited her to walk the runway in this year’s fashion show and, happily, she’s agreed,” Ed Razek added.

This year brought plenty of rumors concerning Miranda Kerr. Among the most recent ones was the fact that the star wanted another baby a rumor which also turned out to be false. Looks like the beloved supermodel will be extremely focused on professional commitments this year.
