Fergie and Josh Duhamel introduced their baby boy, Axl on social media. It’s been three weeks since the two have welcomed their bundle of joy (who was apparently named after Guns‘N Roses singer Axl Rose) and it seems that the happy parents have finally felt ready to present him to the world, even though a tweet from Josh posted on September 16 suggested otherwise: “@iansfans_: @joshduhamel when we see a photo of your baby? Right now we just want him all to ourselves.” Fortunately for curious fans everywhere, the couple quickly had a change of heart.
The proud parents shared two photos from the first days of Axl’s life on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Furthermore, the two adopted a humorous tone, which suggests their new role hasn’t taken its toll on their energy just yet. The captions read “Axl Jack Duhamel Day 1 Life is good #paparazziyoucanleaveourhousenow.” and “Axl Jack Duhamel. Day 2 of life. Hearing test complete. All systems go. #chillin.”
The adorable baby boy was received with a lot of warmth, as expected. Many of the fans noticed that the boy takes after his father and appreciated the clever hashtags. Though parenthood is a new role for both of them, the two are determined to make sure they are the best parents they can be. “It’s very important to me that we raise this kid right,”Josh stated earlier this year, also implying he’d like to have more children before Axl was born: “[Fergie] looks like she’s ready to go! She looks so damn cute. I’m going to miss seeing her walk around preggers. She’s been really cool throughout this whole thing. It’s been a delight actually, which is good because she’s hopefully going to want another one soon.”
Though Fergie proudly showed her bundle of joy, she has yet to make any statement as to when she will be ready to step back into the spotlight or to show any recent (post baby) pictures of herself .We’re quite sure, however, that when she’ll decide to do it, all cameras will be on her.
