While some celebrities embrace their bodies and make flattering choices when it comes to swimsuits, others aren’t a pretty sight at the beach or by the pool, either because of plastic surgery gone wrong or because they’re simply choosing the wrong bikini.
See a few of the worst celebrity beach bodies, that aren’t on the list because of a few extra pounds, but because of bad choices, whether they’re about swimsuits or more permanent body modifications that didn’t work out too well.
Tara Reid
One of the celebrities who’s had the biggest trouble with botched plastic surgery, both with her breasts and her stomach, Tara Reid might want to stay away from skimpy bikinis.
The “American Pie” and “Sharknado” start would look a lot better on the beach if she went for a less revealing, but form-fitting and stylish one-piece.
Courtney Love
After years of plastic surgery, Courtney Love also ended up with one of the worst celebrity beach bodies. While the singer-actress seems to be a naturally healthy weight, her stomach shows big signs of liposuction, which ended up being a lot less attractive than any small but natural looking pouch. Love’s body would benefit from a little bit more coverage.
Lisa Rinna
While Lisa Rinna is most famous for her injected lips, her beach body shows more signs of plastic surgery. With a big gap between her breasts, the actress would benefit from trying a bandeau top and while her sexy legs prove that she can still rock small bikinis, a one-piece would be a better choice to hide her big problem area, her stomach.
LeAnn Rimes
Unlike other celebrities on the list, LeAnn Rimes isn’t a victim of plastic surgery, but she still has one of the worst celebrity beach bodies. Showing off enough bones to make anyone wonder if she’s struggling with an eating disorder, the singer could benefit from a curvier look, even if that’s created with the help of a different swimsuit instead of a tiny bikini.
Courtney Stodden
While Courtney Stodden seems like she has a great beach body from afar, seeing her close up will make anyone notice the pink/purple shade of her breasts. The color is caused by tissue struggling to keep enormous breasts implants into place. Even if a fake tan could hide the issue, Stodden’s breasts still look like beach balls shoved into very little fabric.
Kesha
Singer Kesha looks great in her videos, but she’s also responsible for one of the worst celebrity beach bodies. While she does seem to be in shape, her choice of swimsuit is definitely at the top of the list of worst choices for her body type. The granny swimsuit may provide more coverage, but it’s not flattering at all on someone under 30.
Alanis Morissette
Canadian-born singer and mother Alanis Morissette should be praised for embracing her body, but at the same time, the message of “Self love” on a very unflattering two-piece swimsuit does not create a pretty picture. Going for black bikini bottoms may be a smart choice, but the cut of the bikini does her no favors and the black and white top still ends up looking way too skimpy.
Heidi Montag
Professional plastic surgery victim and former star of “The Hills” Heidi Montag got her dream beach body, but ended up looking completely plastic. Her breast reduction may have helped her move down on the list of worst celebrity beach bodies, but she’s a glaring example of how plastic surgery can end up making someone look good, but unattractive at the same time.
Kelly Ripa
Nobody can deny Kelly Ripa’s body is toned, but sometimes there is such a thing as too toned. With little body fat, Kelly Ripa looks… ripped, but her bones also start showing and that’s rarely a good look. Even while ignoring her outie belly button, Ripa doesn’t really look happy on the beach.
Rachel Zoe
Showing off almost every bone in her body, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe definitely has one of the worst celebrity beach bodies. With a better top that hides some of the most prominent bones on her chest and also adds a little padding, she’d look a lot better when she’s sunbathing.
