Okay you girls, so it’s time for some new adventures! Well, since we all know that the perfect fragrance has the amazing power of evoking important memories but also of boosting the mood, let us introduce you one intense scent that will take you on a special journey through Sicily, the Mediterranean, and Madagascar. It’s Valentino‘s new fragrance called Valentina Assoluto the one to revive your senses. Inspired by the floral notes of the original Valentina perfume from 2020, this one is “much more nocturnal, more seductive”.
“This perfume is a real creation,” said Olivier Cresp of Firmenich, who created both Valentina and Valentina Assoluto. This time, Cresp changed some ingredients and opted for a whole new different olfactive family, chypre. “The white flowers in question are hot and enveloping,” he said.
Valentina Assoluto opens up with top notes of Italian bergamot, Smeggia peach from Sicily and white Alba truffle from Piedmont. The heart of the scent includes tuberose flowers along with Mediterranean jasmine and soft vanilla from Madagascar. Its chypre base consists of silky cedar, oak moss and patchouli. “It’s a strong perfume, one that brings a sense of mystery and noir. It’s also inspired by Valentino fashion,” Cresp explained, saying that designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli got involved in the creation of the fragrance. “They are very intuitive,” he said.
The ad campaign for Valentina Assoluto features Freja Beha Erichsen, who also appeared in the ad for Valentina. The Danish model is photographed by David Sims, who also shot the original campaign at the historical Villa Parisi. Freja looks gorgeous wearing a super-delicate gown and with her hair romantically tied-back.
The captivating scent comes in a fab bottle having a gently rounded, dreamy silhouette and made of brown opaline glass with amber reflections. There is one pale pink rose in the front, while the cap is in copper and topped with a black pearl. The fragrance is available in 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
