After the smashing success of her ‘Wonderstruck‘ and ‘Wonderstruck Enchanted‘ perfumes, Taylor Swift will launch her third fragrance, Taylor by Taylor Swift. This time, the country singer is aiming to bring more personal touches which closely reflect her own style and preferences. The star’s intent, by her own addition is to bring a classic yet modern alternative for her fans to enjoy: “My first two fragrances were more about fairytales. But this fragrance is more about my own style, so I wanted the name to be more personal. It’s really my way of translating classic, yet modern, into a perfume”, the star told StyleWatch.
The Taylor by Taylor Swift perfume is sweet yet sophisticated, combining floral and fruity notes. The scent first delights one’s olfactory sense with notes of lychee, tangerine, magnolia petals, peony, hydrangea. A heart of vanilla orchid and apricot nectar adds complexity to the scent while soft woods and cashmere musk notes add the defining touches to the new scent.
The star’s personality is also reflected in the new Taylor by Taylor Swift perfume bottle design, which brings some interesting retro flairs. Apparently, the ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ singer is quite fond of pearls. “Pearls are the one the fashion accessories that never seems to go out of style,” she said. “I keep a strand in my purse, and throw them on whenever I need to dress up my outfit.” Well, she certainly knows a thing or two about style as she always pulls the hottest looks at all the red carpet events she attends.
Unlike the other two scents that were announced way ahead of time, the star’s third scent won’t keep fans waiting for too long. The new Taylor by Taylor Swift fragrance will be launched by the end of this month, at Ulta.com and in Ulta stores. The new scent will be available in only two versions: a 50 ml one and a 100 ml one. Fans will also be able to indulge in adjacent products like a body lotion, a hair mist and an Eau de Parfum rollerball.
