Singer Pitbull will be launching two fragrances for men and women soon. The Miami born singer , whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, will be launching his two new scents, Pitbull Women and Pitbull Man, during his New Year’s Eve concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, however presales will begin as early as December 1st. The star has worked with Jacavi Worldwide, which is his global licensing partner, and Parlux Ltd., his fragrance licensee, and decided to sell his new scent exclusively via Amazon until February 2020.
Though many celebs decide to launch perfumes at one point or another, this is definitely something not many would have expected. Perhaps even more surprising is the fact that he’s planning to show off his soft side with the new Pitbull fragrance for women.“I think that a soft, sexy sensual scent isn’t what people are going to expect from me,” he told WWD.com. He chose simple and sleek, modern perfume bottles inspired by the monumental buildings of Dubai, Shanghai and Malaysia.
Given the fact that this is his first foray into beauty, it is quite surprising that he chose to do both men and women perfumes. Asked by the same publication why he chose to do it, he replied: “When we started talking about it, it was about very sexy smells. The woman can wear the men’s cologne and the man can wear the women’s perfume. I love to mix them up and see what kind of people you attract off of them. ”
The Pitbull fragrance for women features top notes of raspberries, red apples and mandarin, a heart of nectarine blossom, freesia and jasmine and creamy woods, amber, vanilla and musk as basenotes. The Pitbull fragrance for men, on the other hand, opens with notes of bergamot, mandarin, cardamom and sage, has a heart of violet, woods and verbena and base notes of vetiver, musk, rich tonka bean and amber. The new Pitbull fragrances will be sold in three sizes: 1 oz. for $30, 1.7 oz. for $45 and 3.4 oz. for $55. Additional products offered will be a 3.4-oz. aftershave retailing for $36, and a 2.6-oz. deodorant stick that will bare a price tag of $14.
