The Sephora Divergent limited edition makeup line is one of the many reasons we look forward to the upcoming month. In honor of the upcoming movie ‘Divergent’ which will debut on March 21st, 2020 in the United States, the retailer and Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate have teamed up and will be bringing several cool cosmetic products worth indulging in.
It’s the first movie inspired makeup line for the beauty retailer and it seems that the movie proved the right choice for the project due to the message it sends out: “This is the first time we’ve done a film collaboration. The story line is about discovery and female strength, and has many alignments with our mission and DNA,” Margarita Arriagada, chief merchant of Sephora told WWD.com. The new Sephora Divergent makeup line includes the Multi-Piece Collectors Kit, the Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette and a 7-piece Nail Art Kit.
The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit ($59) includes three limited edition eyeshadow palettes each of which features four High Pigment eyeshadows and one High Gloss Transforming Eye Shadow, a cheek palette with two long-wearing blushes, a shimmering bronzer and an illuminator, four lipglosses and a double ended application brush along with three Get the Look cards which will make it easier to get fab looks inspired by the movie.
The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette ($32.50) includes the following: three versatile high pigment eyeshadows (Candor Lace, Luminous Taupe and Envious Chocolate), a blush (Rosy Horizon), a bronzer (Compassionate Copper) and a high shine lip gloss (Artistic Mauve).
The Divergent 7 Piece Nail Art Kit ($27.50) features five long wearing nail polishes, a High-Gloss Transforming Nail Lacquer that provides a shimmering opalescent effect and six Nail Water-Transfer Tattoos for a unique finish.
Though the limited line is scheduled to hit Sephora.com in early March, the line is said to hit Sephora stores, including J.C. Penney locations, in the week of the movie launch.
