Did you think the Nicki Minaj for OPI collection was the only project the brand has created for the next year? If so, you were completely wrong as the brand has already created a new collection for the upcoming season using a similar source of inspiration as the fall 2020 collection. If America was a good source of inspiration for fall, the brand has chosen Holland for the spring 2020 collection.
Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Nails Executive VP & Artistic Director explains the reasons why the country proved a fabulous source of insight:“Holland has a very unique, vibrant beauty to match its open-minded nature. Spring is the season of color, and the Holland Collection provides an array of pink, coral and orange hues that capture this energy. The bright lacquers are married with neutrals in new variations like red clay and sea green.”
Moreover, as Suzi states,“Wearing these colors on fingers and toes will accessorize the season’s hottest trends. The varied palette of colors accentuates the looks that walked the runway, from colored pants and ladylike frocks to long, blousy-sleeved tops and dramatic patterns.”
As always, the 12 brand new tones have memorable, witty yet undoubtedly funny names that present well known Dutch symbols in a brand new light. Matte or shimmery, each of the shades included in the collection has a unique touch. Here are some of the shades you’ll be able to glam your nails with:
Gouda Gouda Two Shoes – an intriguing rosy tone Wooden Shoe Like to Know? – a lovely shimmery chocolate-brown tone I Don’t Give a Rotterdam! – steal-blue shimmery tone A Roll in The Hague – a fabulous orange hue Pedal Faster Suzi! – a lust-worthy pink lavender shimmery hue Dutch ’Ya Just Love OPI? – a rich plum hue Thanks a WindMillion – a breezy sea green color Red Lights Ahead…Where? – a gorgeous coral red tone Kiss Me on My Tulips – a girly hot pink tone Vampsterdam – a seductive deep purple shade I Have Herring Problem – a shimmery green-blue shade Did You ’ear About Van Gogh? – a trendy sandy bisque shade
