The news that the Kardashians were venturing off into the world of makeup didn’t really surprise the fans of the reality TV stars, Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, as everything these ladies touch seems to turn into gold, so they’ve made sure that from fragrance to fashion and now beauty, their name is everywhere!

However, it seems that will all the plans and projects, the Kardashians managed to overlook one major detail: the name of their Khroma Beauty line is very similar to a brand that was already available on the market, Kroma! This particular makeup line was created back in 2020 by a makeup artist, Lee Tillett, who used her experience to create quality formulas and makeup pigments, but when the Kardashians announced that they were going to launch a makeup collection titled Khroma Beauty, Miss Tillett started to fear that she would lose her business due to the name association of her makeup line with a that of the Kardashians.

Taking matters into her own hands, Miss Tillett is rumored to have sent a cease-and-desist order to Boldface, the company that produces the Kardashian Khroma Beauty line after they bought the licensing rights from the sisters back in 2020, notifying them about the conflicting names of the brands. The production of the Kardashian makeup products under the Khroma Beauty name were apparently continued, so Miss Tillett sought legal help and seemingly after looking at the evidence, a judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff (Ms. Tillett owner of Kroma) setting an injunction.

This means the distribution of Khroma Beauty is to be suspended and products already available for purchase are to be pulled from the stores once the injunction becomes effective. According to Kardashian’s Khroma Beauty Line to be Pulled From Stores
