Held on January 25 at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the SAG Awards 2020 turned out to have one of the most exciting red carpets of the awards season. Thigh high slits and deep necklines made a big impact on the red carpet, while bold prints were the huge surprise. From purple dresses to halter gowns, here are the most important SAG Awards 2020 red carpet trends.

Purple

Gorgeous shades of purple made a big splash on the red carpet. The highlights included Keira Knightley’s Erdem peplum gown that hid her baby bump, along with Matthew McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves , who also wore a rich shade of purple.

Her strapless Donna Karan Atelier gown featured a dramatic sash, and “Orange Is The New Black” actress Elizabeth Rodriguez also opted for a high impact purple one shoulder gown.
