Kate Hudson has designed a 5-piece capsule collection for Ann Taylor focusing exclusively on one of the most versatile and beloved wardrobe staples: the LBD. The actress, who has been the face of the label since 2020, has not only modeled some the retailer’s most interesting creations over the past few seasons, she also worked on a capsule collection inspired by her own fashion style last year: the all white Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor: The Exclusive collection.
This time, the star has joined forces with Ann Taylor’s creative director Lisa Axelson, and created an all black dress line which is scheduled to hit Ann Taylor stores starting with April 10.
The five styles from the Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor LBD capsule collection are meant to help fashionistas look their best for every occasion according to the 34 year old star who said that: “We designed them to fit how we all live—so there’s something for every occasion and everyone.” Indeed the options range from elegant and sophisticated to glamorous and daring and seem to be named according to the allure they are defined by. Among the most formal of the new styles is the “Best Actress” style, an off shoulder column dress inspired by a dress the star wore at the BCRF gala.
Another dress included in the new Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor LBD collection is “The Romantic”, which is a lovey mid length dress that has a flirty modern vibe. Those who are looking for sexier styles should focus on the “Camera Ready,” and “London Love” dresses which feature bold sheer panels and sexy cutouts and which are perfect for a myriad of formal and non-formal occasions.
The boldest style from the new Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor LBD line is “The Late Nigher” dress, a short bodycon dress with lace trims and bold sheer panels which, as the name suggests, is perfect for stealing the spotlight at any party.
