The second Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet collection will hit theoutnet.com page starting with December 17. One of the first notable differences between the two lines is that the first time around, Olivia Palermo was selected as the face of line, however, it seems like this time Russian beauty Miroslava Duma took on the task as ambassador. The first line did very well, with half of the clothes included in line selling in the very first day when the line was featured, so high sales expectations run for the second collection as well.
The Russian It girl has already proved she’s a good choice for the brand, saying that the new options are indeed incredibly appealing: “Oscar de la Renta’s style is very classic, very uptown – it makes you feel confident, chic and elegant. The bright, floral silk dresses are perfect for evenings, cocktails or an important event. [This collection has] beautiful silk dresses and feminine silhouettes. It’s elegant, sophisticated and chic—exactly how every woman wants to look.”
The new Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet collection carries many of the elements of the first line, according to Shira Suveyke, vice president of global buying at The Outnet, who told WWD.com that the new line features two reinterpretations of the best selling dresses in new fabrics. “There is a thread from the first collection. Of course we wanted to make sure that we moved [the collection] forward, but we took our customer feedback into consideration.”, said Mrs. Suveyke.
The second Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet collection for spring 2020 features 19 pieces, all of which embody the designer’s glamorous and feminine signature. Gorgeous jacquard dresses, stunning monochrome separates and chic stunning cocktail gowns are among the options that will make fashionistas swoon.
The options available featured in the new Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet collection are manufactured in the same factory as the label’s main collection. However, since they are made with patterns that already exist, they are cheaper. Still, even so, these runway inspired looks don’t exactly come cheap. The pieces from the new line have prices ranging from $325 to $1,095. Even so, we have a strong suspicion the new line will sell like hotcakes, so if any of the pieces from the new line have caught your eye, be sure to check out the line when it launches, on December 17.
