At this Milan Fashion Week fall 2020 edition, femininity had a variety of interesting interpretations, ranging from reserved and practical to amazingly expressive and opulent. As each label put its own spin on the concept, we’ve got the chance to see some amazing looks which can inspire fashionistas with a variety of style preferences in the upcoming season. If adding feminine pieces to your wardrobe in the upcoming months is among your goals, these stunning lines can definitely prove inspiring:
MFW Fall 2020: Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2020 RTW Collection
The Dolce & Gabbana fall 2020 collection titled ‘Enchanted Sicily’ was the perfect reflection of the idea of whimsical femininity. The two masterminds behind the brand took inspiration from fairytales with medieval elements associated to them.
The label adorned its newest creations with a myriad of sumptuous embellishments and used key, owl, fox or floral motifs to add a strong visual impact to most of the outfits included in the new line. The brand opted for simple silhouettes to avoid making the new ensembles feel too over the top. Accessories-wise, the label went for both simple and understated options and heavily embellished pieces that closely reflected the overall theme. MFW Fall 2020: Blumarine Fall 2020 RTW Collection
In the Blumarine fall 2020 collection, femininity and sexiness were tightly interlinked. Designer Anna Molinari titled the new line ‘Unexpected Heritage’ and used Far East influences to transpose her vision into reality. The designer worked with floral jacquards, gold lame and rich hues of emerald, royal blue, red and purple to add a touch of luxury to her usual modern and sultry ensembles. Among the pieces that best reflected the theme were kimono inspired satin dresses, while fur trims and fur coats were the elements that heightened the opulent allure of the new looks. A soft, romantic allure could easily be sensed as the label sent her new creations down the runway. MFW Fall 2020: Bottega Veneta Fall 2020 RTW Collection
The Bottega Veneta fall 2020 collection also reflected the idea of femininity, however, in a much more reserved manner compared to the lines we’ve got to see so far. It seems like designer Tomas Maier decided to forgo focus on unexpected shapes and volume that characterized the Bottega Veneta spring 2020 line and concentrate instead on simpler, modern shapes and abstract motifs for the new line. Chic knee length dresses and skirts along with classic coats proved to be the stars of the Italian label’s new show. See the complete Bottega Veneta fall 2020 collection!
MFW Fall 2020: Alberta Ferretti Fall 2020 RTW Collection

By working with heavy embellishments and a somber color palette, the designer managed to bring a variety of cool options with a surprising modern allure. In addition to a multitude of nature-inspired prints, feathers and soft lace details, the new line also featured tweed pieces in rich autumnal hues.
