The new Emanuel Ungaro fall 2020 collection got us weak at the knees as the fabulous lineup was packed with flirty, fun and ultra-chic garments that any fashionista would probably go wild for. For the fall of 2020 the majority of the world’s most recognizable fashion designers chose to take masculine and vintage elements as their muses, so imagine our delight when we caught a glimpse at Fausto Puglisi’s vision of contemporary fashion which managed to juxtapose these must have elements and still enable the designs to look feminine and sexy!
“I wanted it to be very Ungaro, but with a graphic approach”, said the designer about his fall 2020 lineup for the esteemed Ungaro fashion house and it seems that his ideas worked wonders as the craftsmanship, the detail and the fabulous pigments and prints used in the creation process was met with high enthusiasm by the brand’s fans!
The Ungaro fall 2020 collection made its debut with a gorgeous lemon-yellow short skirt paired with a cool asymmetric blouse featuring just one sleeve that seemed to be a result of the juxtaposition of the Ungaro signature polka dots with Fausto Puglisi’s recognizable bold cuts. The combo was subtly accessorized with just a pair of classic pumps and a cinch belt that accentuated the silhouette.
Although skirt separates and dresses with sexy slits dominated the collection, these being must haves in every woman’s wardrobe in 2020, masculine-inspired garments were too tracked on the catwalk, meaning you honeys will have a blast experimenting with various ultra-fashionable garments. Carrot pants paired with blouses and shirts, impeccably tailored trousers paired with blazers or coats that appeared to have a bit of 80s fierceness infused through the bold-shoulder patterns, making them look powerful, business-chic and worthy of being rocked by a diva.
The interesting color palette with brights, achromatics and prints contributed greatly to the sizzling appeal of the collection as did the use of fur details that said luxury.
