Alicia Keys and Reebok have joined forces to bring fun twists on some of the label’s most iconic styles for the second time around. The new collaboration confirms something we’ve suspected all along: the popularity of wedge sneakers hasn’t faded one bit since last summer when the style began gaining exposure. The new collaboration between Alicia Keys and Reebok confirms the star’s qualities as a designer and brings a few interesting and modern allure that cannot go unnoticed.
For Alicia Keys multitasking is not a problem but an incentive for innovation and creativity: “The Freestyle has always been a part of my style—so I’m really excited to give it even more of an edge. I’m feeling deeply inspired this year with the new album, tour, and everything that’s going on in my life. Creativity is limitless in its possibilities and I love that I get to express myself in a whole new artistic way through the design of these collections.” The star opted for boldness in each of the new season alternatives.
Those who are worried about the comfort of the new sneakers or lack thereof should know that the new styles containing a hidden wedge of with an approximate 2 1/4 heel height. Fans of the brand and of the star will be able to choose from these styles: the Chi Street Pack which brings a bold color blocking effect in the spotlight, a spectacular red Freestyle sneaker and of course Classic Iridescent Pack which is inspired by Alicia Keys’ stage life.
If these Alicia Keys x Reebok sneakers have drawn your attention already, you should know that the new line will be introduced only starting with April 1st. The new sneakers will be available at Reebok.com and Nordstrom.com. Each of the new styles will be retailing for $90.
