Bottega Veneta Resort 2020 Campaign

The Bottega Veneta resort 2020 campaign has just been unveiled. This time, the luxury label has chosen model Laura Love as the face of the label. As always, the luxury brand has chosen to bring sophisticated creations with a feminine allure into the spotlight. We’ve already caught a glimpse of the Bottega Veneta resort 2020 collection, but the new ads, shot by gifted photographer David Armstrong, really help emphasize the true style potential of the Italian fashion house’s creations.

According to creative director Tomas Maier, the new line brings versatile offerings which are less formal than the label’s usual creations but are still made using the same high standards of craftsmanship. “The clothes in this collection have an informal sensibility that is intrinsic to Cruise, and yet as with all our collections, there is a rigorous craftsmanship beneath everything”, he stated.

The new Bottega Veneta cruise 2020 campaign highlights a few of the label’s finest creations for the season. The label opted for chic relaxed silhouettes and simple shapes with a classy, elegant flair. The American photographer’s aesthetic choices were perfectly in line with the designer’s vision which is why the new ads manage to truly capture the sophisticated vibe of the new offerings. Even though the label does not bring too many of its new season creations into the spotlight, the new ads still offer a series of valuable clues as far as trends are concerned.

Among the insights offered by the new Bottega Veneta ad campaign is the fact that abstract motifs will still be an important part of the defining 2020 fashion trends. The high-end label’s unique twist on the trend comes from the craftsmanship method used. Aside from lace details, the label also used a special raffia inserting technique which is commonly used by Moroccan artisans. The chromatic palette is a balanced one, featuring both neutral tones and rich, dramatic tones for an interesting contrast.
