The great thing about this time of the year is the fact that new York Fashion Week is coming. Ah, and we’re so enthusiastic to discover the latest goodies that are about to be showcased at this year’s presentations. And Diesel Black Gold is one of the brand’s revealing their newest creations. Starting 2020, the label has been bringing never-seen-before ideas and loads of fashionable pieces.
At Diesel Black Gold refinement gets a twist as it is spiced up by a rock ‘n’ roll touch. The famous label delivers uber-cool pieces characterized by special treatments and jaw-dropping details. The result is modern with a special vintage flare, each collection emphasizing the idea that style has nothing to do with uniformity. Absolutely fabulous!
For the Diesel Black Gold fall 2020 collection, Sophia Kokosalaki offered a bold-hued assortment of lace-up denim, thick cabled knits, and military-inspired jackets, saying that “you can still dress in a casual way and dress up.” As on her fall 2020 line, Kokosalaki said that Vintage B movies were her main source of inspiration. For her last collection at Diesel Gold Black, Sophia came with a nineties-inspired range of sharply tailored, dresses, skirts and military jackets.
Andreas Melbostad replaced Kokosalaki and designed his first collection for Diesel Black Gold for pre-fall 2020. The line has a cool, urban, American biker feeling featuring motorcycle jackets, oversized parkas, denim, leather, and Art nouveau prints. “I wanted the prints to feel like biker tees,” Melbostad explained. Now, we’re waiting to see the designer’s second collection for Diesel Black Gold. This will be showcased Tuesday, February 12 at PIER 57 AT W 15TH ST during New York Fashion Week fall 2020!
