The new Pearl by Georgina Chapman for JC Penny collection has all the sophistication, glamour and refinement associated with Georgina Chapman’s at a more budget-friendly range compared to the fashion houses’s main lines. Still, the new line isn’t meant to reflect precisely the designer’s main creations.
Instead, the designer told WWD that the new line has a fresh, younger allure :“It’s got a slightly different attitude, a younger attitude, but it all comes from me. It retains the same sensibility and design aesthetic. I wanted it be fun. So a young girl can put on a dress and imagine she’s about to have an incredible night out. I really wanted to reach a larger demographic and larger audience.”
The Georgina Chapman for JC Penney collection abounds in interesting evening dresses that are sure to make a strong statement instantly. With 38 fabulous options to choose from, the line is definitely one that is destined to fly off the shelves as soon as possible especially since most of the designs falls in the $70 and $250 range. With fabrics like tulle, organza, lace, peplums, ruffles or bows, it becomes quite clear that the new Pearl by Georgina Chapman for JC Penny collection is all about bringing romance back into the spotlight with a fab feminine allure.
The new line may have a younger fan base in mind, however the designs aren’t only suitable for teens.
