Renowned for her quirky style and her unique, super-covetable appearances, Alexa Chung managed to become the muse of numerous girls around the world. The 28-year-old model-turned-presenter doesn’t just get to work for famous fashion brands but she also graces the covers of loads of renowned glossy magazines. This time, the British It-girl teamed up with Danish clothing label Vero Moda for its spring/summer 2020 collection.
“Alexa Chung is an inspiring woman to work with. She knows her fashion references and is able to combine high-end designer items with high street and vintage in a unique way, putting personality into whatever she wears,” said Katja Hundrup, international PR head of Vero Moda.
Alexa is featured in the Vero Moda’s March/April 2020 lookbook rocking some of the brand’s goodies for the season ahead. Lovely cherry mini dresses, loose pants, kimono blazers, long shirts, sexy shorts, breezy tops and shirts, peg legs, you can find a riot of uber-voguish offerings in the new Vero Moda collection. Check out all those achingly cute stunners and get ready to channel your inner boho babe! What more could we want? Have a look and prep your wardrobe for warmer days!
Inspired by the ’50s and ’60s fashion, the latest Vero Moda collection for spring/summer 2020 is rife with chic, effortlessly hip pieces. It’s time you nail this season’s hottest trends adding some super-cool goods from the Danish brand’s line. And Alexa seems to be the perfect choice to represent these utterly gorgeous vintage beauties. Well, Ms. Chung is definitely the style icon of the new generation.
Asked whether New York or London is better for shopping, Alexa told Grazia Daily that, “Err, they are quite similar actually, they both have good vintage shops, for sure. I think if anything, it’s depleting faster in London, so in New York you still have the chance to pick up some great gems. Whatever you need you can get it in either. For example vintage you can get in Brick Lane or Williamsburg, and then for high end you have Dover St Market in London or Barney’s Co Op in New York.”
Alexa Chung has also been named the new BFC Young Style Ambassador by the British Fashion Council. Her new role will be to “promote British fashion design talent to a global market,” the BFC said in a release. “We’re delighted to announce this role for Alexa,” BFC CEO Caroline Rush said. “She is hugely influential in both the fashion industry and to the wider public, who have voted her as winner of the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards for two years running.”
