The Golden Globes 2020 edition might have come to an end, however, some of the beauty looks we’ve seen are still on our minds. A-list celebs have put their best looks forward in an effort to steal the spotlight and gave us a lot of interesting options worth drawing inspiration from. Choosing the best Golden Globes hairstyles and makeup looks might be a subjective task, however, we feel these celebrities are definitely worthy contenders for the title of the Best Golden Globes 2020 celebrity beauty looks:
“12 Years A Slave Actress” Lupita Nyong’o managed to impress with both her excellent performance and her keen fashion and beauty sense. The star made it to the Golden Globes 2020 best dressed list thanks to her breathtaking Ralph Lauren crimson gown and her lovely makeup look. Her glossy eyelids and bright lipstick put the spotlight on her best features.
Mom-to-be Olivia Wilde was another stunning presence on the red carpet. Since she choose a stunning sequined emerald gown, she decided to keep her makeup look relatively simple. Her lovely ombre locks and stunning smokey eyes completed her amazing look perfectly.
Jennifer Lawrence proved that it’s not always necessary to choose between statement eyes and statement lips and managed to find an interesting way of doing both. Her berry toned lips and her stunning pixie haircut managed to make her a memorable presence on the red carpet.
We couldn’t talk about the best Golden Globes 2020 hairstyles without mentioning Amy Adams’ lovely textured updo with simple side braids which put the spotlight on her best features. A natural makeup style completed her gorgeous look.
“Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland also chose braids for the occasion, however, she had a very specific source of inspiration in mind: the Valentino spring 2020 and fall 2020 beauty looks and went for a boho-style crown braid. Like Amy, she also went for a minimal makeup look, but her statement brows were definitely a strong focal point.
Among the memorable Golden Globes 2020 updos were also Zooey Deschanel’s feminine flower adorned side bun or Amber Heard’s bouffant tousled ‘do which, paired with her bronzed smokey eye and pearlized lips, drew all attention on her.
Small buns also proved quite a popular choice on the red carpet. Zoe Saldana’s ballerina bun and sexy red lips and Emma Watson’s knotted bun paired with gorgeous pink lips were also among the most inspirational looks of the night. Mila Kunis, who chose a sexy chignon and a stunning smokey eye makeup look which drew attention to her stunning hazel eyes for the night, and Margot Robbie, who chose a stunning chignon and a clean makeup look, were another two ravishing beauties that stepped on the red carpet last night.
Some stars decided to stray too much from their signature beauty looks. Taylor Swift’s faux bob and signature red lips might not have been the most unexpected look of the night, but it was a beautiful one nonetheless. Much of the same can be said about Sandra Bullock, who opted for a polished yet effortless beauty look: a side parted low ponytail and smokey eye makeup look which suited her perfectly. Another familiar beauty look was Sofia Vergara’s. She went for loose waves and stole the spotlight with her bright pink lips. Reese Witherspoon also embraced the ‘less is more’ concept with a sleek asymmetrical lob and wispy bangs and a bronze eyeshadow which made her amazing blue eyes stand out.
Other stunning Golden Globes 2020 beauty looks were Kerry Washington’s metallic eye makeup look and luscious loose wavy tresses, Drew Barrymore’s simple side part hairstyle and gorgeous pink lips, Emma Roberts’ smoldering eyes and slick ponytail hairstyle, Hayden Panettiere’s slicked back tresses and her dramatic eye makeup look and Tina Fey’s sophisticated curled half updo and stunning rouge lips.
