Cara Delevingne fronts the Burberry Body Tender fragrance campaign. Well, there’s no surprise that the luxury brand has chosen the beautiful British supermodel as she keeps growing in popularity amongst legendary brands, fashion designers and famous magazines. The young cute-as-can-be beauty strikes a pose for renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino who shot the campaign for Burberry’s new Body Tender fragrance, along the River Thames in London. The images show Cara wearing a chic trench coat with the Houses of Parliament in the backdrop.
Speaking about the campaign, Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, said that, “Burberry Body was always about creating something that captures all the different characteristics of the Burberry girl. With Body Tender, we wanted to explore and bring out the softer, more playful sides of her – capturing this light femininity in the scent as well as the campaign. Cara’s natural beauty and vibrant energy lit up alongside London’s magnificent architecture.”
Burberry Body Tender is “a light spirited expression of the iconic Burberry Body fragrance” that mixes “the relaxed, playful attitude of the Burberry girl with the energy of the brand’s London hometown.” The fragrance opens with top notes of fresh lemon and crisp apple, continues with English rose and white jasmine at the heart, and ends with a soft base of amber and musk. The Burberry Body Tender Perfume comes in a lovely light pink bottle and will be in stores on 6th March.
This is not Cara Delevingne’s first collaboration with Burberry. The stunning model has been appearing in campaigns for the house since 2020 and she now joins Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the Burberry fragrance family, who fronts the original Burberry Body scent.
