Twihards were ecstatic at the much awaited premiere of the final chapter of the Twilight series, but we’re more thrilled about the red carpet appearances. Twilight actresses were polished to perfection donning the hottest makeup looks, making them a perfect inspiration for beauty and style enthusiasts across the world. With the drama between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson long gone, we can focus on the glamorous celebrity makeup looks from ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ premiere. Let’s have a look!
Actress Maggie Grace went for an easy girl-next-door makeup look using warm pastel tones that compliment her skin tone. Apart from its simplicity, what we love about her makeup is that it can be worn for all different occasions. What you need to focus on when recreating this look are the skin and cheeks. Cover any imperfections with your favorite concealer and apply a medium/full coverage foundation before using a dusky peach colored blush on the cheeks. The eye makeup is kept relatively simple: nude shimmer eyeshadow on the mobile lid, a kohl eyeliner smudged across the lash line and a heavy coat of mascara. Finish up the look by glazing your lips with a pink lip gloss and you’re ready to claim your right under the spotlight!
Keeping up her demure style, actress Nikki Reed went with neutral colors for her makeup. The focus was directed towards the eyes which were enhanced and given a soft smoky effect with light brown shimmer colors. For more definition, a kohl eyeliner was softly smudged across the upper and lower lash line while the eyelashes were coated with lengthening & volumizing black mascara. A soft peachy blush and nude pink lip gloss finish off her red carpet makeup.
Twilight’s leading actress Kristen Stewart opted for a totally different look compared with the smokey looks she’s been wearing lately. She went with soft eye/bold lip combo to compliment her nude-gold gown. A creamy raspberry lipstick was used on her lips while her greens were brought out using shimmery brown-copper tones. A lighter shade was applied on the inner third of the eye, while the crease and the outer corners were given more depth with darker tones. Lashings of mascara finish up the look to keep the makeup soft and demure. If you’re looking for more drama, you can add a pair of dense falsies. KStew’s fair complexion was warmed up using a rosy tone blush applied on the apples of the cheeks which gave her a soft, natural flushed appearance, perfect for any occasion.
Channeling her inner vintage diva, actress Christian Serratos went for a flawless complexion paired with a cat eyeliner and brick red lips. To add that luminous glow to her skin, a highlighter was applied to the highest points of the face (middle of the forehead, nose, chin and top of the cheeks). White eyeliner pencil was smudged across the waterline to make her eyes appear bigger, brighter, while the cat eyeliner gave drama to the look. A natural pair of falsies and a light coat of mascara on the upper lashes only (a very small quantity can be applied on the lower lashes if they’re naturally light) is all you need to create this timeless eye makeup look. Her features were further enhanced with a contour.
