Another home remedy can be the pulp of a ripe banana. Make a a paste of it, first cleanse your feet with lukewarm water, pat them dry properly. Apply the paste to the dehydrated area of your feet, leave it for 9-10 minutes then wash it off. Repeat this at least once a week to have the desired result.

Lemon juice has beneficial effects on our body, it can also be a remedy for dealing with cracked heels. At least once a week, soak your feet in lemon juice added to ¼ bucket of water, for 8-10 minutes, then dry your feet.

If you wish you can apply the juice only to the problematic area, after that moisturize your heels. A healthy diet can also prevent your heels from cracking, this is also a sign that your organism lacks important minerals and vitamins. That’s why it is highly recommended to consume diary products, nuts, vegetables, fish, chicken and brown rice as well.

You can also heal cracked heels by soaking your feet in tepid soapy water for 10-15 minutes. Then dry it and apply the following mixture to your heels.

Finally hydrogenated vegetable oil applied to your heels can be also useful. Wash your feet properly, put some vegetable on your cracked heels. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off, without using any soap.
