Oily Hair Care

Oily hair can definitely pose a problem for most people who have do deal with their oily tresses on a daily basis. How many times haven’t you wished your tresses could look gorgeous even after a few days after washing?

One of the hardest problems in dealing and handling oily tresses is hair styling. Styling the hair when it is greasy is difficult because the hair tends to separate into thick hair strands, making the hair unmanageable. Another thing which makes most people uncomfortable is the sebum which adheres to the hands when they are brushed through the hair.

Oily hair can be caused by two things, because the glands produce too much sebum, or because the hair is becoming dry and the sebum is being released in order to ensure the hairs protection. Sebum is very important because it protects against external factors which can damage the hair.

Here are some tips to help you deal with your oily tresses and prevent more sebum from being released from your scalp:

a healthy and diverse diet is very important because it can help the hair receive all the vitamins and nutrients it needs in order to look healthy. Avoid eating greasy foods and drink plenty of water, about 8 glasses per day to maintain your body hydrated
