Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have definitely caused a stir a few years back, when Brad suddenly split up with Jennifer Aniston after a 5-year marriage. Soon after the scandal, Brad moved in with Angelina with whom he has 6 kids, 3 biological and 3 adopted. Despite the big family, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt didn’t consider marriage, but will they tie the knot because of the kids?
The hottest couple in Hollywood, ‘Brangelina’ has taken a strong position over marriage these past years stating they will wed when everyone else in the country will be legally able to do so. After not budging off their initial stand, the two might be on the verge of reconsidering as their kids are trying to show interest towards the meaning of the institution of marriage.
Brad Pitt tells USA Weekend that their children, with ages 2 to 9 have began to show interest on marriage and they’re starting to ask questions. Brad says: “The kids ask about marriage. It’s meaning more and more to them, so it’s something we’ve got to look at.”
So does this mean the couple is reconsidering marriage? Well, probably, but that doesn’t mean we’ll see them walking on the aisle soon. Modern families don’t pay as much attention to marriage as they once used to, but that doesn’t mean kids will not wonder why most people are married and their parents are not.
Having kids seems to have had a great impact over Brad Pitt who has wanted kids for a long time as he says: “Kids hold up a mirror to you. You can’t make excuses. You’ve got to make sure they’ve brushed their teeth and eaten a good breakfast. You want to be present if they wake up with a bad dream.”
Although Brad admits the atmosphere in his home is most of the time “chaotic”, he enjoys it. The “base camp” which is how he calls their LA home helps them feel a bit normal even though they’re pretty nomadic, being on the road all the time to shoot movies. Brad says: “Angie and I do everything we can to carve out some semblance of normalcy for them, to re-create the kinds of moments that were special for us.” “There are no secrets at our house, we tell the kids, ‘Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.’ They go, ‘Eww, gross!’ But we demand it.”
This Hollywood couple definitely captures a high amount of attention and we’re pretty sure that if they do decide to tie the knot everyone will be watching!
