With two movies out this year, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, actress Anne Hathaway takes charge of her promotional duties and lands the cover of Allure, the magazine’s July 2020 issue where the 29 year old opens up about losing weight for her roles, nudity in the movie industry and more.
With her picture perfect big smile, Anne has mesmerized an entire planet, so prepare to be dazzled by her natural beauty, flawless milky complexion and flawless hair as she poses for Allure. The actress seems to be determined to do anything to express her characters perfectly as she’s even chopped off her luscious locks for the role in ‘Les Miserables’. In addition to that Anne also needed to shed a few pounds and says that she’s doing “some crazy weight stuff right now”. She tells Allure that:
“I’m on day six of detox …this diet makes me break out, so I love that. Nothing like living on hummus and radishes and then being all like ‘And I got a pimple’ Yeah.”
The actress managed to land the role of Catwoman in “The Dark Knight Rises” which is set to hit theatres on July 20th and it seems to getting in that trademark suit was not an easy business. She tells Allure that she found the suit “a psychological terrorist… the suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit… it dominated my year. I went into the gym for ten months and didn’t come out.”
Acting requires dedication and plenty of talent but when it comes to nude scenes in movies, not all actors are ‘on board’ as flashing your ‘privates’ for the whole world to see isn’t all that easy, so when asked about what she thinks about nudity in acting, Anne, who’s showed some skin in the 2020 movie ‘Love & Other Drugs’, says:
“I’m as vain as the next girl, but I think it’s my job to show people as they live, and nudity is a part of life.”
Although she’s proved that a nude scene will not scare her off the set, Anne Hathaway has turned down a role in ‘Knocked Up’ due to an explicit birth scene. As far as why she opted not to take the part, Ms. Hathaway says that:
“I thought that [director] Judd [Apatow] was right to include the shot. I didn’t disagree with the shot… My issue with it was that having not experienced motherhood myself, I didn’t know how I was gonna feel on the other side about giving birth.”
