It seems that Britney Spears’s life is heading on the right track as after a long struggle to cope with various factors in the pop star’s life, the mother of two has finally taken her relationship to beau Jason Trawick to another level, as the two are reportedly engaged and her engagement ring has been revealed to the media.
Britney Spears’s engagement ring to Jason Trawick was created by acclaimed jewelery designer Neil Lane, who revealed that Jason, Britney’s fiancé, wanted the ring to reflect Britney’s royal status as far as he is concerned as Mr. Lane told People that: “She is his everyday princess. Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same — she is his princess!”
With this theme in mind, Mr. Lane took it to his atelier and designed an amazing, fit for a princess diamond engagement ring. The design has royal written all over as it resembles a ‘mini crown’. The wonderful diamond engagement ring is created out of platinum and features a center white diamond surrounded by other 90 small round diamonds applied on the eternity band.
According to Mr. Lane, Jason Trawick was very involved in the project and kept in contact via phone and email from various corners of the world as he accompanied his future wife on her global tour. Neil Lane said that: “Texts came from all over the world, from Abu Dhabi, Mexico and I don’t know where else!”
Although Jason Trawick has formed a couple with Britney Spears for quite a few years now, Neil Lane says that the 40 year old was still very nervous about popping the big question to Britney. He said that: “The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves. He’s deeply in love with her. Britney is his princess and he is her knight in shining armor. Jason’s protective of her. He adores her. Every good fairytale needs a princess, and now Britney has a ring fit for a princess!”
As far as Kevin Federline’s reaction to the news that Britney is engaged to Jason Trawick, the 33 year-old told Australia’s TV WEEK magazine that: “I’m really happy for her – I think he’s a great guy. She’s happy; she’s doing really well. I want to say she’s in a good place. I haven’t spoken to her much since I’ve been over here, both of us have been busy with her being on tour, but I do know from talking to the kids and talking to the kids’ teachers that they’re doing really good. It’s a good step in the right direction. I’m totally happy for her.”
