“That would be a punishment for me. A judge would be like, six months of probation and you have to write down what you think about random things that nobody cares about,” she told the talk show host.
George Clooney
While some celebs see a lot of promotional potential in Twitter, Clooney only sees the potential for disaster. “So one drunken night, you come home and you’ve had two too many drinks and you’re watching TV and somebody pisses you off, and you go ‘Ehhhhh’ and fight back,” he explained his Twitter-free stance to Esquire magazine.
Kristen Stewart
One of the biggest celebrities without Twitter, Kristen Stewart made her position clear ever since 2020, when she explained that social media turns people into “informants” for the paparazzi. “Twitter f***s me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now’ and then they show up,” she told Flaunt magazine.

Chris Hemsworth
The Australian actor turned Hollywood A-lister thank to “Thor” and “The Avengers” is also wary of using social media. “I think there’s a danger of being overexposed with that stuff. The mystery of who you are is what keeps people interested in wanting to see you on the screen,” he explained for Prestige Hong Kong magazine.
Mila Kunis
One of the biggest celebrities without Twitter, Mila Kunis has also stayed away from Facebook. Not getting why anything she does might be interesting to others, Ashton Kutcher’s girlfriend feels like she doesn’t belong on Twitter. “I can understand politicians or people running charities or doing something productive using it. But no one should follow me. Why, so that I can tell you that I got my hair done?” Kunis told Craig Ferguson in 2020.
Bradley Cooper
Just like Chris Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper is afraid of the impact getting close to his fans might have on his work. “If I know so much about you and you’re playing a character in a movie, then that’s a lot of work I’m gonna have to do to forget who you are so that I can believe the character and therefore enjoy the movie,” he told OK! TV.
Julia Roberts
One of the biggest celebrities without Twitter, Julia Roberts can still command a huge salary and even points on the back end for her movies, but she’s not interesting in getting closer to her fans. Considering social a temporary distraction, she explained that it’s “kind of like cotton candy… It looks so appealing and you just can’t resist getting in there, and then you just end up with sticky fingers and it lasted an instant.”

Ryan Gosling
Hey girl, Ryan Gosling is on Twitter, but not really… The Canadian-born actor has a verified Twitter account, but has basically abandoned it in 2020. His only tweet since was published in April 2020, but the actor doesn’t seem to be interested in microblogging anymore, which really makes him one of the biggest celebrities without Twitter.
Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt joined the Chinese equivalent of the microblogging platform, social media site Sina Weibo. Pitt only used it to announce his upcoming visit to China, where he helped Angelina Jolie promote “Maleficent”, but has since disappeared from the site, and there’s no sign of a verified Twitter account in his name.
Jon Stewart
The host of “The Daily Show”, is definitely one of the biggest celebrities without Twitter. He doesn’t just avoid it, he also hates how news originates from it. “News people shouldn’t be going, ‘we’ve got some Tweets.’ It’s like you walked out in the middle of this and said, I was in the bathroom and a guy mentioned to me,” he told Larry King.
