Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Unveil Photo of Their Daughter

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan unveiled the first photo of their daughter, Everly on Sunday. The news that the couple welcomed their first child made fans ecstatic and anxious to see the newest member of the happy family and it seems that two weeks after the happy event, the couple felt ready to present their beloved daughter.

Though the couple proved extremely discreet for the entire duration of the pregnancy, refusing to confirm the baby’s gender or even the birth date, the duo seems to have gradually become more comfortable with sharing the at least part of the details fans were eagerly awaiting for. The 32 year old actress and new mother was the first one to thank fans for all the supportive messages. On June 6, the star tweeted:

“Thank you everyone for all the loving messages! Chan, myself and Everly are happy as can be and appreciate them all,” she stated, also referring to her as “our lil angel”.

Yesterday, however, the moment everyone was waiting for finally happened as the People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive celebrated his first Father’s Day. He finally decided to share the joy with his fans from all over the world and posted a photo of his happy family on Facebook writing “First Father’s Day with my girls.” The couple looked serene and absolutely mesmerized by their precious daughter, who was dressed in a beautiful white chiffon dress and was clearly feeling comfortable and well protected in her father’s arms. Channing wore a bohemian -inspired jumper while Jenna sported a loose black shirt. The photo looked extremely natural and made it quite clear that, at least for moment, their daughter is their first and most important priority.

Though Jenna previously stated that she doesn’t know how the two of them will be as parents, Channing seems to have already gotten some idea. In the July issue of Vanity Fair, he states that he hopes he’ll be perceived as a good friend: “I’m just going to be a good friend to my kid,’ he stated and added: ‘I don’t think you can prepare. It’s a bit of a freestyle.”
