Cheryl Cole Talks Diet and Shoe Fetish with Grazia Christmas 2020 Issue

Every girl loves her shoes but it seems that UK’s sweetheart Cheryl Cole developed a true fetish for the accessories, as she tells Grazia Magazine Christmas 2020 issue that she has about 2000 pairs of shoes. Cheryl who is known for her petite frame, loves heels and she’s gathered quite a few as she says her shoes are everywhere in her home. She tells Grazia that:

“I hoard them all over the house: in cupboards in the kitchen, in the bathroom – every room. There is a big chance when you open the fridge in my house there will be a pair of shoes at the bottom.”

It seems that her love for shoes landed her the collaboration with Stylistpick, where Cheryl has co-designed a stylish shoe collection which is already available for purchase. Shoes are known for their style boosting power and Cheryl definitely knows a thing or two about style and sexiness as she is a regular in fashion magazines and on the red carpet.

The 28 year old diva tells Grazia that over the years, she has developed a true fetish and that she just can’t part with her shoes. She now has gathered up to 2000 pairs of shoes and counting. Cheryl says that: “I’ve always, always loved shoes but over the past few years I’ve definitely developed a proper fetish. I actually own about 2,000 pairs of shoes – and that’s after giving quite a few away. Because I’m quite small, to me getting dressed is all about the heels.”

Apparently Cheryl is willing to put up with the pain killer heels usually come with just for style as she reveals to Grazia that she tries to ease her way into wearing shoes that are uncomfortable yet fabulous. She says: “I have a pair of Louboutins that are so cripplingly painful – but I’m trying to ease myself into them gently, wearing them for a few minutes every now and again.”

However, her aim is finding shoes that offer the height, the sexiness and the comfort, so she’s definitely found a few as she managed to raise such an impressive shoe collection. Cheryl tells Grazia that: “My absolute aim is killer shoes that don’t kill your feet. I can walk in heels of any height and I can dance in them because I’ve just been doing this for so long. As a kid I was a ballet dancer and I always had really sore toes. I had to have them broken and re-straightened, which sorted them out.”

Cheryl also reveals that she can’t just let go of a pair of shoes once she’s wore them as they bring back memories of the places she’s been to wearing her shoes. She says shoes are all about memories and no one wants to let go of their memories. She says that: “For me, all shoes have memories – wearing them on a certain occasion like that means the shoe gets that memory. If I can’t wear them again I also can’t get rid of them because they are so linked to that emotion. I’m probably a bit bonkers like that.”

The 28 year old singer doesn’t reveal her love for shoes but her love for her new curvier body, as the diva has gained a few pounds after her battle with malaria. Doctors have advised Cheryl to gain a few pounds and that is just what she did. It seems that a few pounds don’t scare Cheryl as she says she loves her body. She tells the magazine that: “The curves are back, well and truly. I’ve got my boobs and bum back and, yeah, I like it. I think it’s sexy. When I’m really thin is normally when I am working non-stop. I don’t put any emphasis on thinking, ‘Oh, I’m thin at the moment.’ Right now I’ve got my curves back because I’ve had time off, I’m at home cooking, I’m more relaxed. I’m not defined by being seven pounds heavier than I was two months ago – I think it is really unhealthy to go there.”
