Two days after the Chris Brown/GMA incident, where a glass was shattered, a dressing room was trashed and a shirtless singer appeared leaving the building in Manhattan like nothing happened, an apology was issued.
Chris was invited on Good Morning America to promote his new album F.A.M.E when Robin, and GMA’s host decided to ask a few questions regarding the well known Rihanna incident. The tension following the set of questions was visible and after the show was over, Chris Brown rushed into his dressing room where he got violent. GMA staff members called the police as Chris trashed the dressing room and threw a chain into a window, causing it to shatter. 
This came as a shock to most, as after the Rihanna incident Chris was ordered to attend anger management classes, meant to prevent domestic violence, which Chris was found guilty of. His short temper surfaced again, so it seems that he’s not quite done with violence. Apparently, the thing that threw Chris off was the line of questions about Rihanna.
Because the incident made headlines, Chris Brown decided to make a statement on BET’s “106 & Park” to tell his side of the story and apologize for his behaviour. Although Robin stated that Chris was asked if he would approve a few Rihanna questions, and he did, Chris Brown has a different story. He said he approved talking about positive things, and that his behaviour was triggered by the line of questions.
ABC decided not to press charges against Chris Brown and even decided to invite Chris Brown back for an interview. However, it seems that he declined as Robin said on GMA, that “it’s time to move on”.
Chris Brown stated that his behaviour was triggered backstage “to release the anger that I had inside me”. He also added: “First of all, I just wanna apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed with the way I acted,” “I got very emotional and I apologize for that.”
