Chris Brown decided to dump Karrueche Tran for Rihanna and the news caused quite a media frenzy. Rumors of a possible reconciliation between Chris and Rihanna have emerged months ago, but Chris’s decision to split with Karrueche came as quickly as a shock-wave, so did the news that Rihanna has let Chris back into her life.
Apparently, Riri and Chris have been spotted hanging out together for three consecutive days, the paparazzi snapped pics of Chris leaving Rihanna’s hotel for two days in a row and even snapped pictures of the rumored couple at a Jay-Z concert in New York, where Chris apparently got cozy with his ex-girlfriend. However, Chris Back isn’t ‘two-timing’ as he revealed to the media in an official statement that:
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much, but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Rumor has it that it was Rihanna’s interview with Oprah, in which she revealed that Chris Brown was the love of her life that set the tone for what it was about to come. The ‘You Da One’ singer decided to let go of the past and move on from the horrific aggression from 2020 that led to their breakup in the first place and was not shy to admit that shes moved on from that. After polite salutes in public and friendly hugs on stage, the two apparently decided to reconnect and spend more time together without fearing the possible backlash following their decision. Thus the two opted to hang out for three consecutive days.
According to MailOnline, a source revealed that on the first day of their outing in a celebrity hotspot in New York, Rihanna and Chris were spotted “hugging and kissing, and they went to the back of the club alone together”. The New York Post said that another source revealed that the two entered a bathroom together and soon after Rihanna emerged ‘a little ruffled’.
Karrueche opted not to offer any information about her split from the singer, but a cryptic message posted by Chris Brown via Twitter suggest that she was not happy. The singer wrote “happiness is the one thing I’m never guaranteed….. How can U expect me to guarantee yours?”.
Rihanna and Chris Brown’s fans went wild when the news hit the media and some took it to Twitter to express their joy or disappointments over their decision, so what do you think? Do you believe this was the right decision?
