She welcomes the audience in her living room and starts talking about the fact that fans had a tremendous role in her healing process. The 18 years old Disney celebrity is now prepared to face her admirers and all the media sources and talk about this critical period in her life.
Demi claims that, “Wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. Your support is what got me through” she says. She went into rehab last November for “emotional and physical issues.” Millions of people around the world, teens and adults were praying for her recovery. Therefore, the young diva considered it her own duty to thank them for their support.
Additionally she says that, “The journey that I’ve been on has been very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues that I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with. I hope to one day raise awareness… so I can help people the way you helped me during this rough time. I can’t tell you how much light you guys brought into my life in probably the darkest time of my life. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be here today…I am excited to get back to work.”
One of her future goals is indeed to attract the attention of the media as well as parents and adults to be aware of the first signs of a similar emotional breakdown. It is extremely important to take action and help teens who struggle with similar problems. Demi Lovato is one of the most beloved teen actors and singers, eager to continue her career and get back on track with her new life.
