Gracefully covering the April 2020 issue of ‘Allure’, Eva Longoria looks impeccably as always styled by fashion editor Paul Cavaco and photographed by Norman Jean Roy.
In the cover story, Eva opens up for the magazine and shares her thoughts regarding her divorce from basketball player Tony Parker and life after this painful moment. Besides, the petite hottie also talks about her first job ever and her future plans. She tells ‘Allure’ that, “My first job ever was at Wendy’s. I still remember the order to put things on the burger: Mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, onions, tomato, lettuce mustard. Would you like some fries with that?”
Eva always proved that she’s not just a pretty face, but she is also a talented actress. In the interview for ‘Allure’, she speaks about “Desperate Housewives”, the movie that transformed her into an overnight sensation. “Desperate Housewives was groundbreaking for Latinos in television because the Solises were the richest people on the block – and they’re Mexican,” she says.
Furthermore, the beautiful Hollywood starlet opens up and talks about a difficult moment in her life, her divorce from San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tony Parker.
“I’m kind of having to find new patterns because I’m not used to having – I’m used to always being on a plane and flying to a basketball game…. It’s been – every time I talk about it, I want to cry. It’s been hard. Very hard. I’m just trying to get through it as gracefully as possible without any drama,” she confesses.
The two met at a Spurs game in 2020, got engaged in November 2020 and married in July 2020 in a Roman Catholic ceremony in Paris, France. The couple split in November 2020, when Eva filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The actress discovered numerous texts from another woman on Parker’s phone, woman who proved to be the wife of one of the player’s teammates at San Antonio Spurs.
Despite all these hard times, it is important to invest in friends you can rely on. And Eva has such people around her. “Two actors who I lean on heavily for life advice are Marcia Cross and Felicity [Huffman]. We’re like sisters. You know, some people collect plates and stamps and coins. I collect amazing, smart, interesting women,” she says. As for future plans, she admits that, “I’m in a transition stage, settling into a new routine, and I welcome it.”
