Russian model Irina Shayk isn’t shy to show off her gorgeous body in various spreads; but according to the diva, Playboy is something that she would never do as she thinks she has too much class to pose for the infamous magazine.
Apparently, Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend received a generous offer from Playboy to pose for the magazine, but Irina turned the offer down as she is not interested in posing nude. However, as a lingerie model, Irina bares plenty of skin posing for Esquire UK February 2020, wearing raunchy black lingerie.
The 26 year old beauty tells Esquire that although she is a lingerie model, she has class. Irina said that: “I would never do Playboy. Yes, I am a lingerie model, but I have class. Playboy offered me so much money last year. I was like: ‘No. Way. Alright Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer did it. But they did it at the end of their career and it was classy. I think of myself as a cover girl. But I would never do some kind of cheesy magazine.”
As strange as it might seem, Irina posed for the same magazine that interviewed her, wearing sexy lingerie, and in one of the photo she appeared wearing nothing but sexy panties as she covered her upper body with her hands. In the interview with Esquire, Irina also states that it requires more than just a pretty face to create a fruitful career. She tells that magazine that: “No one wants to work with a stupid girl. You have to be beautiful on the inside, then people will want to continue to work with you.”
She also tells the magazine that growing up wasn’t all that easy as she was never liked by boys when she was young. Her love for heels, skinny physique and darker skin coloration triggered negative comments from boys while Irina was at school as she tells Esquire: “I love high heels from the age of 10! Short skirts and then high heels. My classmates used to make fun of me. Like, ‘Ooh, she’s so skinny and she’s wearing high heels’. But I just wore what I like and I didn’t care about people’s opinions, the same as I don’t care now. Boys never liked me at school. They made fun of me because I had dark skin.”
