Joe Jonas sure knows how to strike a pose and he does an amazing job for the April 2020 issue of ‘Details’ magazine. The 21-year-old singer looks super sexy on the cover with his new appearance, more mature and self-confident. He shares a lot of things for the magazine including some interesting personal issues, but he also talks about his new solo album.
“I’m growing up, the fans are growing up. I’ve gone through a lot of stuff in my life so far. There are stories I haven’t really been able to tell. When you’re writing with three people, you wind up with a sound that might be — not average — but, you know, expected,” he says.
It seems that the idea for this project came to him in the summer of 2020 when the Jonas Brothers were in Rome. “We were sitting in this beautiful Colosseum – looking hotel. And I was starting to think, ‘I really wanna do a solo project,” he remembers. Still, the most important thing is that he has the support of both Kevin and Nick.
Well, there is no need to panic if you are a Jonas Brothers fan as according to Joe the group is just taking a break. “We’re not breaking up, we’re just taking a break,” Joe says.
No one can deny that Joe Jonas was always the sexy part of the group. He dated a few young celebrities such as Demi Lovato, Camilla Belle and Taylor Swift. And when it comes to the topic of hurts and breakups, Joe tells ‘Details’ he had his heart broken two years ago by a girl in the entertainment world.
“I won’t say her name. But I was in a relationship, and we tried to work things out, and she, you know – I was really upset because she, she broke up with me,” he confesses.
Joe also opens up and talks about his relationship with Ashley Greene. After dating for several months, the couple went public with their love in September last year. Speaking about Ashley, Joe says that “it feels good”. “I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule. She’ll fly out to my shows—she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce.”
About his music, Joe wants to be honest and people to accept him as he is. “I just want to believe that people are gonna really accept me for who I am and the music that I’m making now.”
