After Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Daria Werbowy, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, and Juliet Binoche, it’s time for Julia Restoin-Roitfeld to represent the French house Lancôme. The daughter of Carine Roitfeld, editor-in-chief of French Vogue, will be, in fact, the face of the new Lancôme collection called “Ultra Lavande” for spring 2020.

A makeup line designed by Aaron De Mey, creative director at Lancôme, and Charlotte Tilbury, in a campaign shot in Paris. For the campaign, the French house relied upon the world-renowned photographer Mario Testino who had already signed the “Trésor” campaign in April last year, and who is Julia’s godfather. Moreover, in 2020, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld will appear in a campaign in Asia for the Lancôme Blanc Expert line.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is no stranger to the fashion and modeling world. Her natural beauty helped her and made her noticed, while she could already be seen in campaigns for GAP, Rock&Republic, Jil Sander fragrances, and Tom Ford’s Black Orchid fragrance. She was also face and model for “Restoration of the Monarchy”, a denim and t-shirt line headed up by the interior designer Eric Villency.

In 2020, she featured in the Roberto Cavalli for H&M campaign and later she became the ambassador for both Accessorize and Mango. However, she didn’t wan to stick to modeling and after graduating from the Parsons School in New York, she became a freelance designer working for labels like Peter Som, Zac Posen and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
